			Based on the workshop results, the following four outcomes focus specifically on the future development and capabilities of Collection Management Systems (CMS).

			====AI-Ready CMS Architecture====
			Collection Management Systems should support the seamless integration of AI services through standardized interfaces and modular workflows. AI functionalities such as transcription, object recognition, and data enrichment should be integrated as interoperable services rather than embedded as isolated features.

			====Annotation-Centred Data Management====
			CMS should treat AI-generated outputs as annotations that are managed separately from authoritative collection data. The system should support annotation lifecycle management, including provenance, versioning, batch review, and controlled acceptance or rejection before incorporation into collection records.

			====Human-in-the-Loop Validation Workflows====
			Future CMS should provide built-in mechanisms for expert review and validation of AI-generated results. Curators must remain in control of approving, modifying, or rejecting AI suggestions through transparent and efficient review workflows that ensure data quality and trustworthiness.

			====Standards-Based Interoperability and Governance====
			CMS should implement community standards for AI annotations, provenance, and metadata while ensuring interoperability with infrastructures such as DiSSCo. The system should support reproducible AI workflows, transparent documentation of AI-assisted changes, and governance mechanisms that enable responsible and sustainable AI adoption.

			Consolidate the workshop findings into a shared requirements document describing how future Collection Management Systems should support AI.
