* Reminder: Deadline for first dataset selection is 31 October.
* Purpose: Support strategic onboarding of specimen datasets into DiSSCo infrastructure.
* DiSSCo will mint Digital Specimen DOIs free of charge for institutions worldwide.
* Limitation: Only 20 million DOIs will be created in 2025; pre-registration secures a place on the waiting list.
